For the FARO design, designer Hannes Wettstein took inspiration from the lights found on old Dutch bicycles. The strong character of the aluminium diffuser is combined with the stage-stealing cone of light that draws the observer, striking a perfectly harmonious balance in style.

The family comprises various models: FARO TERRA with its zinc-coloured painted steel stem; FARO BASE with a three-lobed base made from zinc-coloured epoxy powder coated steel; and FARO SU BARRA, i.e. pendant models attached to a zinccoloured painted metal bar, which come with 2 or 3 diffusers and can be mounted on the wall or ceiling.

All models feature adjustable, rotatable, semi-polished aluminium diffusers, which come in two sizes: 350 mm Ø and 280 mm Ø (Mini version)

Floor and base versions (230V) are fitted with 1 twin-filament 250W halogen bulb with E27 base. The 110V version has 1 Type A 200W incandescent bulb, E26 base.

Faro bar version (230V) is fitted with 2 or 3 twin-filament 250W halogen bulbs with E27 base. The 110V version has 2 or 3 Type A incandescent bulbs, 200W each, E26 base.
